Eli Piña is a saxophonist, improviser, musician, vocalist, composer, and songwriter from Mexico City. Her artistic exploration seeks to create and destroy the ways of bringing the saxophone to life, incorporating movement, percussion, and voice as an organic extension of instrumental mechanics. The magazine Marvin describes her as one of the great new talents of the tenor saxophone in Mexico City. She plays the tenor saxophone in a visceral manner, with great technique and expressiveness. In August of 2025, she released a tape with Concepcion Huerta the name -Aquarius Wind- with the mexican label Venas Rotas Discos.
Autobombo is the project/laboratory of Tatiana Heuman and Aro, which examines possible sound-movement-materiality connections. Using pieces of a fragmented drum kit and chains of different sizes, they will create a living sculpture, a third body with its own breath, bone and gesture.
Tatiana Heuman works at the intersection of sound, media art, and movement research. Her current projects revolve around expanding the sensory field. (tatianaheuman.com)
Aro is an Argentine multidisciplinary artist, born in Havana, Cuba. His artistic practices focus on the intersection of acoustic and electronics sound, body, and materiality, exploring performativity through a physical-sonic perspective. (a-r-o.com)
